Thanks Gator--one less I have to compete against. Heading there tomorrow for all three days. Plan on hitting every community hole I can for the next two days and sticking as many as I can. Won't go to my spots until the tourney starts.

If it is fishing that bad then one place is as good as another I guess. Oh well five days of fishing is still better than working and honey do's.

I'm taking dad Friday and Saturday..... Flying blind but he probably won't be able again so I am taking him regardless..... Wish me luck and two days of feeling good for him!

For some reason I decided to donate and fish all 3 days. If anything I'll just be there to make sure I keep my sandal and sunglasses tan lines going strong.

Well, here is my one day update(only fishing the Legend today). Caught around 20 unders. Almost all of them were 12-14 inches. Caught them on a variety of baits...chug bug, texas rig, carolina rig, trap... From two feet to twenty. Best pattern seemed to be wood in the 5-8 foot range. One was 15 3/4 but looked like it had been run over. Happened to be relocating to an area not far from weigh in so decided to weigh it....only went 1.57. Needless to say I was kicked out of my chair pretty quickly.
Around 1pm I finally hung a good fish...a really good fish. Since I wasn't successful landing her, I'm telling myself she was 23.5 inches. Came off wood in 7-8 ft. Three stumps together...or so I thought. I was able to wrestle her up to the top only for me to get a really good look at her big head and plump belly before she did the old big fish dive....turns out there was a fourth stump further under the water....she won...I lost. Got a good enough look at her while she was up top to see that she was either prespawn or had been eating really well. Heavy fish...stuff happens
