How old is your cover; it appears that your Pro emblem has already faded out after comparing to the new pictures.

Good catch KB 1953. Ray Charles could see your first pic was baggy. And you claim "It has already spared my cowling from certain gouging from getting blown into some trees on more than one occasion" And then you say "that photo was taken the day after I installed it from being folded up in its packaging" FOUL Second pic is faded-it still looks baggy like a diaper. Mine doesn't hide my trim switch. I wouldn't care if it did. Kinda like my zipper, I know where it's at. LOL

Thank you Mo_Cat for reminding me why I stopped posting on this forum. Your cover looks great and mine looks stupid; there, are you happy now?

I had a Tuff Skin cover on my last motor and didn't have any scuffing or marring of the cowling. It as well is lined and fit very well. It was a bear to get on and off when I needed too.
Tuff Skin is a locally made cover as well. I like to support local businesses.

I've used a tuff skin since I've owned my Evinrude. 2009 The top is in like new condition. Only scratch is from a mesquite thorn the first time I had my boat on the water. I need to get a new one. Never will run an outboard agin withou one. Heard of some guys saying the restrict airflow which I find hard to believe as the air intake on both sides are open with ligh mesh to cover it. Guess they are more analytical than I.
Great investment.

After reading this post I picked up an OCA cover for my Yamaha from J-2. Fits like a glove. I got worried when I saw dirt sobers in my storage building so I felt it was worth the expense. Thanks for the cover.
