TacaTaco in San Antonio has great breakfast tacos. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio does the best brisket taco in our area. Cristian's Tacos does a great carne guisada in San Antonio.
Don't listen to those folks in the Dallas-area about where to get good tacos! If you want to find the goods places you'll need to head South.

Just tried Fuel City yesterday and they have some seriously good tacos - And reasonably priced at $1.60 each

El Tacontento in Plano is legit
The stand off 380 and Bridgefarmer that has the big "tacos y pupusas" sign is very good also.

Hwy 78 toward Lavon from Sachse "Speedy's Tacos are very good not the Tex Mex but very good affordable tacos, behind Metor Burger, Speedys is just a good hole in the wall place for tacos! One day I asked for a sample and the sample was a entire taco as with most of the food there.
Caution the sauce that says hot is HOT!

Two Amigos in downtown Waxahachie, TX. Everything you want. Only problem it is a whole in the wall and parking is bad. I usually just call it in and pick it up.
