 10.40-lb bass and a shad spawn at Richland Chambers from last Saturday

This 10.40-lb hawg was caught on Richland Chambers last Saturday (4/23/2016). There was a major shad spawn going on all over the lake. Here a a few pictures of the shad that committed suicide during the spawn       The shad were spawning all over the lake. Some were still kicking in the above pictures. I guess they wore themselves out and for some reason 1,000's wanted to get on top of the vegetation mat to lay their eggs. We saw billions of shad spawning behind Hickey Island. These pictures were taken between Jones Branch and Long Arm Branch Want to know more details about how the fishing was last Saturday?
