Thanks Gitter for the reply! As for the Guadalupe River Redear I do not know where they went! They are out there somewhere and hopefully I will be able to get a few. Winter Redear bite on the river was very poor! Hopefully we get a good late spring, summer Redear bite. Side Note: Strong currents, moved brush piles, below normal water temperatures, lots of runoff water, and tons of water being let out of Canyon Lake all play a major factor in the Sunfish bite on the Guadalupe River below Canyon Lake.

Thanks Curtis for the reply. Like you said the Guadalupe River Redear bite has been poor for over a year now but the Crappie bite has been GOOD! Fast current and cool water favor the Crappie in my opinion. You and Jeff have put the time in fishing that east end and it has paid off for you guys. Nicely done.

Yes Sir we have marked several nice brush piles that seem to be holding fish pretty well year around. Crappie bite like you say has been pretty good!

Nice fish SK!
Side Note: Those Guadalupe River Redear will be really hard to find after all of this latest rain. Reports stated New Braunfles got 4 to 6 inches of rain today! Both the Comal and Guadalupe are a muddy mess. Wonder if the Corps will be letting water out of Canyon? Shades of last years May.
