Thanks to all who replied to this post. After talking with a lot of guides and other professionals seem like the fish are still up the creeks. Quite a few of the north Texas lakes have the same situation as Eagle Mountain. Seem the cool conditions have extended their stay. Chris I don't go along with everytime we have a flood the fish all go down the river. If it was true we would be covered up with fish from Bridgeport due to they have really had flood condition. Of course all lakes loose some fish but not that many. A 20 yard flood gate is not a very big area. After the huge flood last spring when it all cleared up we had the best fall we have had in years. I do agree our numbers are down due to low water and bad spawns. Which have become the norm. We only get a river spawn every 5 to 7 years. Thanks again for the replies good to hear other people's thoughts. Johnny
