10-12 inch gizzard shad, more fun than the law allows. Best bass bait known to man!

Where is a good place to throw a cast net on Fork. I haven't done it yet, and I'm worried about all the stumps. Do I just find a pocket with no stumps and hope they are there?

Baby ducks are cheap at the feed stores. They got a bunch left over ...could only imagine the wicked strikes that this would produce.... On a side note, is this either legal or ethical? ....

I asked a guy one time on Fork, back in the early 90's what he was using, he raised up a heavy looking rod&reel with a 10" bullfrog nose hooked like a waterdog.. True story,I watched him lob that big sucker out into some lilly pads, he said he had caught fish over 11 lbs on them at the time.. I still have a vision of that poor bullfrog hanging in the air with legs and arms sticking out.. I was amused to say the least...
