We did head SE, out well past those 2 drill ships. They are sitting just a couple miles inside Southern Rock. With most of the structure now removed out there they should be some strong producers in a couple of months but I am sure it will be like a boat parking lot around them. I'm sure I will try them at some point but I'll likely stick to good looking areas from Ripcharts and let the others fight the crowds at those rigs. I like having all the fish to myself, just ask lite-liner...I got my secret spots that produce.

Hey Mr. Liner,
That really does look like a Snapper coughing up a hairball!! But great report guys. Wondered if you all happened to go down Southeast. Noticed the Noble Jim Day and one of its siblings were about 30 miles SE of Port A. If they stay there for long that could be a cool place to go down and fish.
Tom - DeepBlueGulf Hey Tom, it's the jim day & danny adkins. they're both sitting in 200', just west of Southern.
