I got a Lowrance Elite Chirp 7. Haven't used it on the water yet. Anybody have one that may suggest their setting to get started? Welcome to the TFF You may have faster results posting this in our general equipment section. That's where most questions about setting are answered

I need to update the software on this unit. I think the image is ok. It's not as clear as my garmin 73dv on the TM though.

I know a lot of guys still use or are just starting to use color graphs. These are two decent shots of cover near structure. Using the fish ID can help you distinguish the fish buried in cover from the cover.
