My old man dropped his glasses at the gas pump once. 10' deep, he said go get em. You do what your dad tells ya.

2 pair of Costa's
2 IPhones one recovered so insurance paid
1 GoPro recovered, GoPro replaced it since the water proof case leaked
To many hats to count and that's pretty much it!

August 2014 i watched a $2300 TM get ripped off the front of a friend's boat on Texoma when it deployed while on pad.

My TM tried to deploy at Ray Roberts a few weeks ago. It somehow stayed up, even tough it came unlatched. When it bounced it turned and came down on the nose of the boat and chipped the gel coat. That will cost me. From now on i will use the strap when it is rough out.

Lost my entire tackle bag full of hard baits and terminal tackle on Bob Sandlin couple years ago...fell right off the back of the boat as we zoomed across the water. That wasa hard day for me.

I'm extremely paranoid and careful about letting things get near the water, so I haven't really lost anything. However, I was in the boat with my dad when he lost a Shimano Metanium XG and a brand new Kistler Z-Bone. About $1,000 right there.

Trolling motor on grapevine and a $200 combo. Hooked a good one and got him in the boat. While attempting to remove the hook he shook out of my hand into the water and took my combo with him......

I was on Eagle Mountain today and almost lost my (new to me) 2007 Ranger Z20. This is my first boat and I'm new to this. I backed up my truck and put it in the water then idled over to the dock. I got out and grabbed the rope that I had clipped to the thing under the bow that the trailer winch hooks to. I pulled the boat over to the dock to tie it up so I could go park my truck. The clip/caribiner on the rope somehow came unhooked suddenly from the boat and now I have a free floating idling boat with nobody in it. It was a little over 2 feet from the dock so I jumped and made it onto the boat. You guys have never seen a fat boy like me jump like that.

My Loomis rod with Shimano reel sit at the bottom of Truman Lake in Missouri. Didn't strap it down cuz I wasn't gonna go far or fast. It's ugly when you see a Loomis get air.

$90 Arnettes on Toledo Bend. Lures. Watched my buddy buy his most expensive lure, which only about $25 swimbait, and proceed to lose it within first hour of fishing on Fork. That was a tough pill for him to swallow. No rods yet. Although a buddy of mine managed throw a reel plate into the water. frown
