There are also cash payouts for the fish weighing closest to 1.00 pounds, 1.25 pounds, 1.50 pounds and 1.75 pounds, and if your fish hits the exact weight of 1.00, 1.25, 1.50 or 1.75 pounds, you double your winnings! You can register for the tournament at any CAT monthly meeting, by mail, or at the Minnow Bucket the evening before the tournament or the morning of the tournament. All the tournament details and rules are available online at www.crappieanglersoftexas.com. $250 doubles to $500 if you hit the exact weight.

One thing that has not been mentioned is this: closest to weight (WITHOUT GOING OVER).
On the 1.00,1.25,150, and 1.75 pound fish category.
So, the way I understand that is if you have a 1.01 pound fish, you would be in the 1.25 pound category since you went OVER 1 pound.
Do I have this right Ken?
This is what it says in the flyer.(WITHOUT GOING OVER). Is this correct? I have been looking online, and can't find the answer.

You have to pretty much hit the weight on the head or someone else is getting the money, but yes y'all are right on moving up to the next category if you go over

On the "closest to" prizes, if you weigh a fish that hits .99 and nobody else has a 1.00, you win $250. If you weigh a fish that hits 1.00, you win $500. If you weigh a fish that hits 1.01, you are in last place for closest to 1.25 There are no tie-breakers. Ties will split the money.

Sorry Kevin, I left for Fork at 4 am and just now looking at this. JayDon gave the answer. My big fish today was 1.8. A friend put a 2.3 in the boat.

Had a 1.56 & 1.63. this morning. North wind has laid down and the rain stopped. Fish were slower this morning; had to leave it still for 30-40 seconds maybe longer. With this weather change, a minnow on the jig helped. See y'all at the weigh in if not at registration. Good luck
