Buy it with the intention of rebuilding the engine.
As stated. DO NOT CRANK ENGINE!!
Rotten impeller or dobber dirt would crater engine.
God loves you just as much as anybody else!!
Jesus offered His life as a gift for you. Please accept it!

I'm a mechanic and bought an airplane that sat in a hanger for 27 years. The motor and airframe checked out fine and I got it for a good price. After 10 hrs I had to replace all 4 cylinders on the engine. So I agree with the previous post that say buy it with the intention of rebuilding the motor. The boat should be fine but battery's,fuel tank, fuel lines, and engine WILL need some attention Good Luck

I wouldn't try to run it until a mechanic went thru it. Everything from the impeller on the water pump to the throttle cable might be bad. Dirt dobbers could be living in the carbs. It would be pretty sweet tho... This, I would not even attempt to crank it on the water. Take it to reputable mechanic first and let them start it after checking it out.

Really interested to hear the details when you find out more. If it's true and you get a good price it could end up being an awesome deal.

Boats that just sit end up costing us more than boats that get used. Run the other way...sounds like a money pit waiting to happen.
