Found some on my HEB shelf yesterday and picked up some to try
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

Cool Ma Tucker sign in the back. Great looking SS fryer.
Thanks to everybody for the input!
$3.88 at HEB is what I paid for Bake-Rite Sunday at the one on Tx 21 & TX Ave., so that is a good price. I still need to go by the HEB on Villa Maria at the Tejas Center (where the Manor East Mall used to be, and before that, when I was a kid- the Skyway Drive-In Theater).
$3.88 a tub for Mrs. Tucker's sounds great!
I forget what I paid for Mrs. Tuckers last year (2015), but I think it was definitely $4 or $5 something per tub at Village Foods.
I think my biggest fish fry so far was January 2010 for a church in NorthEast Houston. Mrs. Tucker's was running $3.59 a tub back then. I ran 4 deep fryers (3 of boneless catfish, 1 of tilapia fillets), 1 Coleman stove (crinkle cut french fries), and small propane stove (Hill Country Fare "bullet" Southern Style Hush Puppies from HEB). I bought 13 or 14 tubs (fryer pots held "X" amount of tubs- 3/3/3/1.5/1.5/1.5). They reimbursed me upfront for everything except the catfish. I also ran a small grill (using hickory chips, Kingsford charcoal- in the grill & Tony's Creole seasoning- on the fish). As you know, there are some folks who cannot eat fried foods, so I grilled catfish, tilapia & fries so they could still get some. I was put up overnight by one family (Leo & Carole), was taken out to eat that Saturday night, my breakfast was bought & paid for, and they not only insisted paying for my mileage after I returned home, but topped off my gas tank before I left. Leo helped me run the fryers. I had it set up so we could run it like a marathon. Everybody enjoyed it.
I hope to have more time this weekend to comb thru more local stores to see if anybody might still carry it on their shelves here or surrounding area currently.
Yep, small world. You know what they say about TFF, "You're family here".

I live in Austin and the only place I found that stocks Mrs T is Fiesta.

I recall someone saying that Fiesta had it some time back the last time we were discussing frying & Mrs Tuckers shortening. However, here in the B-CS (Bryan & College Station, Texas A&M) area, as far as I know, we have not had, nor have one here currently. Being Easter weekend, I have not had a chance to call around some more. And this week looks to be busy at the shop, so I doubt if I will have time to drop by many stores for a personal view of their normal stock.
