I am curious about something, though. Boga grips weigh in 1/4 pound increments, so how did he arrive at 10.80?

The top 2 fish have the same cut out on dorsal fin and a couple other same markings. The third pic is a beautiful fish.

Way to go!

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Top two are the same fish, maybe they inadvertently posted different pictures of the same fish, either way great fish, and congrats on a great couple days!

Sorry Chris my mistake I put a . it should have read 10 pounds and eight ounces which would be 10 and a half pounds. Yes they do weight in 1/4 pound increments.

no they are three different fish caught on two different days. The top two were caught a few days ago. They were caught a few hours a part not same fish.

And this is how a typical fish pic on the TFF goes.
Congrats on the fish guys.

No they are not using waterdogs, if you saw someone using water dogs it wasn't them. I have fished with Boudreaux for five years and never seen him buy nor fish with a waterdog. I guess to be honest I have heard of a waterdog but never actually seen one. I also know he has a set of boga grips that he weights ever fish over his guess of 8# pounds so all of theses fish would have been put on the Boga's to check weight. I am not sure why you would try and tear down Mr.Bucky he is just a class act.

I'm GENUINELY not trying to stir the pot, honestly. But do you know for a fact that they weren't using waterdogs or are you assuming that because you've never seen the guide use them, because that sounds like what you're saying, and that's not very good reasoning.

Personally I don't care what the guy caught them on, I just like seeing the old guys catch big fish.

I guess you couldn't sense my sarcasm I was joking since it was already mentioned and I though it was funny someone would mention water dogs

Sad but true...

I know that Bucky (with Boudreaux as his guide) puts a LOT of time in on the water in pursuit of big bass, despite his age.

I've never seen him as successful as he has been this week and I, for one, am THRILLED for both of them.

(Boudreaux ain't no spring chicken either but don't let him know I said so!)

But the first two pics are definitely the same fish if you zoom in they have the same black dot on the gill, same dorsal fin, many other identical markings. Not going to convince anyone it's different fish. I think it was mentioned above maybe accidentally posted different shots of the same fish.

Regardless great fish

That last fish is a beauty! Would have been even better with a full belly. Already spawned??

Agreed. Same fish. Black dot on the gill plate and separated fin in the same place. Doesn't matter at 3 over 10 in a week is sure nice. Not many will top that on a very pressured public lake.

Maybe when I retire, I'll have enough money to pay guides to take me fishing. That would be the life....

Wonder what kind of deal you could make with a guide to pre-pay for 20 trips during the year?
