I've caught some realmonster fish off a bed......in my dreams....

Actually my biggest bass was 6.7 that I caught 35 years ago! Haven't done a lot of bass fishing since then, but that will change soon!

7lber for me on lake Tyler. Netted a 10lber for my fishing partner he spotted on Palestine one year. I couldn't fish the rest of the tourney after that. Coach

9lb's 2oz's lake weatherford. Found her walking the bank crappie fishing. Ran to truck, grabbed bass rod and tackle bag at 3pm. Caught the 3lb male 5 times. At 8:45, as it was getting dark I put on a Junebug speed craw, first pitch in caught the male for the 5th time. Asked a fellow banker to take him for a little walk and release him gently, second pitch in the nest, Kaboom, she ate it! 6hrs and 5 mins, but man when I took the pics it was worth it.

10.12 The pic on the right of my signature...at lake Fork...she was with 3 bucks...finally, we stuck them enough that we could pitch at her. My buddy stuck her and she shook off right away...I had previously got my jig stuck right next to the sweet spot (all beds have one!) and we had to leave the line in the water to not scare her off. After I pitched at her face, she finally played along and BAM!! She went under the line in the water, but I managed to keep her hooked. My buddy, being the great fishing partner he was, got half way in the water from the front of the boat, and lipped her...one of my favorite memories at Fork.

I caught an 11-8 off of a road bed, but I doubt that is hat you are talking about. I haven't caught any fish off of a bed intentionally, because I am legally blind in my right eye, so no depth perception. I have seen a few HUGE fish on beds, but could not get them to bite.
