If I didn't know better, I would say those were hybrids... super size sandies there. You don't want a fishing partner do you...lol?

79scooter: They might be Hybrids. I have posted before about sandies with Hybrid characteristics at PK on this forum. One thing for sure is they don't look much like the Hybrids at Tawakoni, so I kept them. I figure one day I'll get a nasty ticket from a Game warden for keeping a too small Hybrid I thought was a sand bass.
As for fishing with me, I'm open to it. I fished after the front and only caught one fish. You know it's tough when spawning sandbass get lockjaw.

Yeah, I think the front will stall them out. I think I am going to play hooky on Monday and head up that way to the hwy 16 park.
