Can you remelt the sprue down and use it again or is that all waste?

It's sold. Shoe soles and stuff like that are made I believe.

Seconds, which are baits that didn't come out perfectly when starting up a new color can be found in crappie bait bars at places like Pond King in Gainsville, Tx. This is an inexpensive way to try various brands of baits that'll have different profiles and actions.

They've got a bass bait bar as well.
