Based on the folks here experience, how much longer do these batteries last typically than a lead cell battery? I have had lead cell go 4-5 years, and then again, sometimes only 2 years. I hate to spend that kind of money for essentially the same performance/life cycle. Even with the discount. Battery I will replace is 8 years old and still charging...bought from Sportsmans Warehouse in Lewisville about a year before they closed if that gives you any idea.

I have a cheap-o charger and have been charging blue tops with it for years no problem.
My charge does have a Lead Acid/AGM switch and it defaults it to the AGM setting.
