4 bass from fishing all day is a joke on a professional level

90% of the classic was them talking and Comercial just to sell you stuff that you don't need. Plus the dam video wouldn't work half the time!

I don't even think Kevin Van Dam caught a fish

If Ray Scott had promoted catfishing instead of bass so many years ago and brought it to the level that has led us to where we are today, you might see Bill Dance punch baits,Hank Parker catfish rods, KVD circle hooks,etc..

For now, its the pinnacle of fresh water fishing. It is what it is.

Bass fishing is slot like trophy deer hunting its not for everyone but some of like the challenge. My wife and I bass fish because we enjoy the challenge but also enjoy taking the grandkids after sand bass or crappie

It's call bass fishing not bass catching for a reason. I for one enjoy and appreciate when they have to compete under tough condition. That's why they are the best of the best. Fishing the Classic is different. Those guys are out to win, not cash a check. So, for many it's hero or zero. fish

BTW, the video worked a lot better on an iPad or phone than on the computer for me.

A 30lb bag is pretty impressive in those conditions.

Mark, ESPECIALLY on Grand Lake. A good bag up there is normally 20-23 lbs. Edwin wanted the wind to blow to catch his fish, and it blew today and you saw the results. GOOD ON Edwin. I like the challenge of bass fishing, we are all on a level playing field and you have to figure them out. TOW is the key to figuring them out quicker, it is just a CONFIDENCE thing for me. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Haha. Right. I can bass fish for hours to get 5 quality bass....then drift across the lake ripping slabs and catch 30-40 in one pass. Whites do not require skill to catch. Hell...Stevie Wonder could limit out on sandies.

Man I really enjoyed watching this Classic and seeing how tough it was for them to catch fish. I think I learned a lot more from that than any tournament that they're slugging them. It was also very interesting how in the first couple of days the bite would turn on all across the lake at specific times. That was cool to see.

Just like in real life, some people like to be challenged and have to work for it while some just want get a trophy for participating. Different strokes for different folks.

Probably because a guy just brought 29 lbs to the scales on the final day to jump to the top of the leader board and win the Classic?

I will say the Classic has the worst production crew-ideas for a major bass tournament if you are watching at home. Majority of the time is spent talking and pushing Berkeley baits down our throats.

I'm a big fan of MLF because they show numerous Anglers and what they catch. It's also well produced and entertaining. I know guys that watch MLF and have maybe fished for bassa few times in their life

I think it was Shaw Grigsby who said that if they could get the classic and other major events produced and engineered like other major sporting events the sport would grow and Anglers would make better money so they wouldn't have to push Berkeley or strike King down our throats.

It's 2016 BASS. It's time to start producing televised\casted events like they should be.
