that's the problem I haven't seen any significant amount of bait or fish on structure. I have looked deep, shallow and in creek channels. I have tried all different depths on bridge columns but nada. I think the problem is that I have been fishing joe pool and maybe need to try elsewhere.

So far I've been able to stay on them. Since Oct. caught 135, Nov. 122, Dec. 168, Jan. 145, Feb. 131. Haven't been skunked yet, but I know my time is coming. I start March tomorrow!

Depends on the weather mostly. Jan and Feb can be kind of sketchy but the fish are usually around baitfish during that time and you must be able to read your sonar or you'll fish empty bait pods or lethargic fish. Some associate with cover during that time but be practiced at reading cover and not spending a lot of time on any unproductive cover.

December for me is toughest by far. Not saying that I have not caught any, but it's the toughest.

I'm always in a good mood when I'm fishing.
