Have a RT188 bought in 2013. What a great boat. Be glad to talk to you about it or if you want to fish out of it I could come up to your part of the country. I would enjoy fishing RR since it would be a new lake for me.

Never ridden in either one and I prefer fiberglass to aluminum. Based on hull design, the pad hull will track better on plane and when trying to hold the boat on a BP. Wind doesn't blow the pad hull sideways near as easy.

Ranger foam flotation, keeps the boat quiet, improves stability, plus look up the video with holes cut thru hull.

I love my G3, but we fish for more than just crappie. We have the deep V, so I really don't know much about the bay model.

Just made the switch back to a bass boat from center console, and I bought a Ranger. Think long and hard about aluminum verses fiberglass. My biggest problem was an unstable fishing platform. What really got my attention was when an elderly gentleman fell on a trip one day. Fortunately he fell to the inside of the boat.
