There was one year where my buddies and I would go and catch our limits every morning before work. We did this 3 or 4 times a week for a whole month long and lots of others did the same.

Still no shortage of sandies 2 years later....

Went Sunday. Caught 30 sandies and 2 stripers. All small. Very few keepers in the bunch, Went down river and found huge schools but couldn't get them to bite anything. It may be a little while longer before they really fire up.

Any new updates on the Hamm Creek area? I'm planning on taking my 5 y.o.this Saturday. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated as I'm not really familiar with this stretch of the river. We will be in a Jon boat chasing anything that will bite, but I would really like to get him on some sand bass. If anyone feels generous enough to point me the right way, I'm all ears.

Last Saturday, it was ok. Today was terrible. Some folks told us that Wednesday was on fire but today... nothing.

Last week we did ok on Rattle traps.
