Those lines along the belly are a sure sign it is a spotted (river) bass.

A word of caution to folks fishing along the creek. Don't leave a stringer of fish unattended for long because someone may take it. It makes me sad that somebody would take someone's fish but it happened. Oh well, saved me from having to carry 8 more fish back to the parking lot.

I've had my stringer taken before as well. Some people, I'm telling ya. Oh wait, they took my fish but left me my stringer all rolled up nice and neat, That was so sweet of them. Jerks....... That is a low life person if you ask me. Oh well, guess they were hungry and needed the fish more so than I did. And I hope that was the case. If so, then it's all good, someone went to bed with a full belly.

J-Moe quote ----- I don't string fish. I only took 3 pictures today. I guess I should have recognized that some people may take me to be a Liar. My friends know better. I'll leave the reports to those that string fish.

J-Moe, I get called out on fishing post all the time. I take it with a grain of salt these days. I personal know that you caught those fish. You don't have to post pics to prove anything to me, I've watched you catch fish.

Good come back, you the man. I've been catching these fish on those jigs for many many years now. There is an art on how to use them though. But you know this all to well now.

Does J-moe mean parking in the Park or just near the bridge and walking toward Newmans with the creek on your right side. I usually stay closer to the bridge. With limited success.

Parking lot walking downstream with water on right is correct.
