We got into them in about 15-20 FOW over BP. Dean has that lake dialed in and we were getting some nice big healthy fish. Sometimes I think Waco Kid takes his BPs home with him when he leaves the lake because when I go solo they are a SOB to find even knowing the area they are in, not having SI doesn't help lol. He has taught me the lake well, I have of my own honey hole there now! Bait of choice was Bobby G slab doctor in chart-sparkle, they tore up all but 2 hard, deep mouth thumpz! Ruff

Nice metting yall out there, yall did DAM good. Im learning, slowly but surely, that lake is a lot different than most as far as patterning fish.. Some real tree shakers though. The first crappie I caught that morning I believe something in my rod handle cracked, and my reel sounds like a bearing is tinking around.. no joke, they are some freight trains.. If they were as long as waco crappie , as thick as they are, they would be 3 pound fish.
See yall on da water!!!

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Thanks leaning post! Those fish are hogs and sometimes you cant tell if you hooked a crappie or a white bass because of the way the crappie there fight, if I had a dollar for each time me band Dean said ,"(oh its a white) and it was a slab I could retire lol!
