Great pics ! Water color looks great. This warm spell should get them piled up even more. When you clean them, check the egg sacks; if the eggs start getting translucent they are ready to be fertilized. Thanks for the report ! Rio
My stringer is getting there!!

Awesome report. Always enjoy reading your posts. I haven't fished for 8 weeks now. I don't do too well in the cold. Looking forward to this Friday and scout the creeks.

Put in at the Live Oak airport. I guess its about 7 miles or so from Three Rivers south off of 281. There will be signs signaling the airport. Hey guys and gals how long will the white bass be up in the river. Seems like its still very early. I havn't seen any redbuds yet lol. However looks like everyone is catching these fantastic fish. Does anyone go as far as the "Rapids" or can you intercept them at the 1st real right angle bend on the river?

The Air Port ramps and the 59 bridge ramp are the ramps I use. As for the rapids. It was to shallow for us to get to em. We fished just right before them. Seems the only ones making it past the rapids to the sand bars were john boats and kayaks.

Thanks for the reply. Side Note: Friends of mine reported limits the other day and they put in at the 59 bridge. They stated they did not have to go that far to find plenty of fish. Spawn is on!

Nice work Chuck. Did y'all happen to find any crappie? I have caught them on bare jig heads there before.

We were to busy catching Whites. Matt told us some spots to look for and a few places to hit but we just did not have the time. Maybe next trip. Side Note: Choke Canyon is picking up!

Nice ones Chuck and good fishing guys. Fished the Nueces Friday and launched at the 59 bridge. Boat traffic started picking up by late morning. Me and Jeff ended up taking 30 nice ones for the frying pan. We boated about 50 fish from 7am till about 1pm. Roadrunners with light colored jig attachments worked the whole trip. We started finding good fish about a mile from the ramp. You going back anytime soon?
Side Note: We also ate at the El Tapatio. Thanks for the great tip. The food was very good.
