Jig..... There is no better lure for cold water.

2. A crankbait of some sort

You should not get in the boat without a jig and a crankbait tied on. If you want to catch quality fish.

Hydrilla or coontail Grass... Lipless crankbait, Spinnerbait, chatterbait or a swim jig

3/8oz white swim jig with white rage tail craw- fished shallow along brush and rip rap
1/2oz War Eagle spinnerbait, Blue Back Herring color slow rolled just out of sight.
