Barbara and I got off to a great start limit in first hour, but then didn't cull a single time next 7 hours. Great news is vets Matthew and Mike with Mark were on the top 5 list most of the day and with Mike catching a 3-4 pounder it put their total at around 17 pounds just out of top 5. Matthew caught his personal best, a 5 lb. 9 oz. Matthew and Mike are perfect example of the great people risking their lives for our country. Polite, respectful, and dang good fisherman too. The enemy doesn't have men like this on their team!

It was a great day. Thanks to everybody who put this event together and the sponsors that made it happen and a big shout out to Richard McCarty who put me and my partner (both of us are Fork rookies) on some great fish for a 3rd place finish. Congrats to Gary P and his team.

Great job by all. It was a fun day. Would like to see final standings posted. How many teams did we end up with?

I think near 25-30 teams. They only post top 5 as just a fun tournament, recognize the top teams, but don't penalize all the guides for a challenging day (client skills, clients partying at East Fork until 4 am...).

Thanks to everyone that put this event on again this year. We had a great time as always. I wanted to share a couple pics f yesterday's fish. I didn't get good pictures of all the big ones but here's a few including two doubles we had.
