2007 Ranger 188- Yamaha 175 HPDI

9/10 for the boat
9/10 for the motor
10/10 for the trailer

I Ordered this boat new, and has served me well. Can handle anything I put it through!

2014 Bullet 21XRS - 250 ProXS

My third Bullet, other two were 20 footers, this one is 21'-10" with top speed of 82.6
10/10 for the boat
10/10 for the motor
10/10 for the trailer
I really can't think of anything I don't like about it

10 out of 10 2016 FX20 LE
10 out of 10 2016 250 SHO
9 out of 10 2016 Skeeter trailer
Love the improvements over 2013 FX20 I had.
Also is faster than the 2013 FX20 so far, 74.3 is the fastest I have been in it so far.
Still breaking in the motor, so it may end up running faster once the break in is complete.

05 zx225, Bought last october so it is relatively new to me still,

Boat 8/10 - Boat rides well but is a little light so big waves get a little bumpy, i stay dry and has great room for a 20' boat
Edit: I knew the boat was light going in and expected the bigger waves to be rough so i should really rate it a 9/10
Motor 10/10 - Boat jumps up on plan and the motor sips gas/oil
Trailer 7/10 - Cheap, basic trailer, but it hasnt let me down

2002 SX190: 8. Wish it had a wider front deck
Yamaha 150: 10 been rock solid and gets me goin quick as I need
Trailer (ez): 5 rattles like crazy and some signs of rust
Overall: 11. It's paid for, starts every time and still looks like new save for some tree rubbing!

2004 Skeeter TZX 190-7
Yamaha V Max 150-8
Trailer-7

Only had the boat since May. Boat is in great shape for its age. Carpet is in good shape. Seats not so much. I have patched them up but will replace them next year. I have replaced all the plastic latches with metal latches. Installed Tackle System and have a keel guard on order. The trailer had very little rust but I went ahead and rhino lined the trailer. I have LED lights for boat and trailer just need to install them. I was always a mercury guy but the Yamaha V Max has been great for me and always starts right up even after sitting a while. Getting empellar changed right now. After new seats next year then i will save for a new TM.

1997 Triton TR-17 that we've owned since new.

Boat - 9
Built tough as nails, very stable fishing, good wide front deck, plenty of room on the back deck, and good storage layout. Can be a rough ride in rough water and will get you wet is the only reason I'm taking any points off at all. If you want to take off points because it's short and can't fish 3 people that well, then that's fine. But we knew that when we bought it and it's never been an issue.

Motor - 1997 Evinrude Intruder 115 - 10
Any motor that goes 19 years with nothing more than routine maintenance and one replaced VRO pump gets a 10 out of 10. Doesn't burn much gas either. I usually put 5 gallons in on the way to the lake and never run out.

Trailer - 8
We've never had to do anything but replace the tires every so often. It is rusting a bit though, so I gave it an 8.

Never had any major issues with any of it, so for value it gets a 10/10. For overall capability, quality, and value compared to larger/newer boats, I'd give it an 8/10. It's less capable than a 21-footer, but it also cost a fraction of the price and we've made some great memories and caught some big fish in it.

I saw that exact boat but in green at Plano Marine in Long view.

Honestly. This boat is on a lake 3-4 days a week. Every week. Rain, snow, shine, wind....whatever. Very dependable. Remarkable even given its age and thousands of hours on it. It looks as good as most 1-2 yr old boats. Runs great for its size/HP. AND HAS CAUGHT more fish than most boats will ever have in them. Lol

It is a 10+ on value.
Since this picture at Table Rock, it has been given new carpet, new trolling motor, new live well system, motor repainted, and gel coat reconditioned.

Did the new one come in yet?

I will rank my last three I have owned over the last 4 years

2000 Cobra 201D Merc 225 efi
Boat- Great ride, best of every boat I have owned
- Instruments were okay, but parts are hard to find. you could land a plane on that deck, Small Gas tank 7/10
Motor- 10/10
that thing was a beast, had 1,200 hours on it when I sold it
trailer- 4/10 this thing was junk, I put way too much $$ into it

2004 Skeeter zx225
Bought this boat with 120 hours on it 2 years ago, learned a good lesson that a boat with this few of hours, this old is no good. A boat that sits is a boat that breaks
Boat- 9/10 I think this is one of the best platforms made, it was a little slow but the storage was just like I want it
Motor- 2004 HPDI 225, 2/10 I found out after blowing a power head on the way to weigh in with a 6th place champs stringer in the livewell that this engine sucks. Talking with a few mechanics 2 told me that the early hpdi's were prone to blow the 5th cylinder (I wish someone would have told me this)
Trailer- 4/10 not a fan, put way too much $$ into this thing

2015 ZX-250
Boat- 7/10 for a brand new boat I am a little disappointed in the lack of bells and whistles, this boat has everything you need and nothing you want. the ride is a little bumpy especially when you have it loaded down. IE, no hour meter, no front tool or cup holder. Padded deck only in very front. locks on compartments are cheap. The passenger console (on the single console) is made very cheap. Not a huge fan of the one large single compartment in the middle.
Motor- sho250, 10/10 has a little over 100 hours and I haven't done a thing to it, fast, strong, reliable
Trailer- 10/10 powder coated, good brakes, oil bath hubs.....big fan

Boat 8/10 gel coat cracked aross the nose for no reason.
Motor 8/10
Trailer 6/10 have to stay on top of the rust but very solid
