Nice looking truck! So does this mean you're changing your name?

I haven't owned a red chevy since 2009 and WhiteRam just doesn't have that ring to it. Nothing will ever replace my first pickemup! thumb

Oh and thanks, hope its a good one

227 miles on the truck and the average is up to 24.5 mpg. I have yet to take it on more than 10 miles of hwy without stop and go.

Saw Diesel in Houston for $1.59 the other day. Just my luck I was in the old timer gas burner.

I don't get it, have been seeing crazy variations in fuel prices as much as 50+ cents a gallon in some places. Station right by my house wants 2.15 for diesel, dad has been filling up for 1.65 at an HEB for the past 3 weeks, sams was 1.85 and HEB across the street from the sams by my house was 1.79... seems like their should be more uniformity to me.

$1.59 was at Costco. Momma and I were out cruising in my 1973 Chevy Cheyenne which just happened to have a full tank of gas in it. Had I brought the beast, I would have snorkeled up some of the $1.59 Costco Diesel.

What size tank is on your new rig?

I love white and have never owned one. The wife complains it looks like a company truck.

Because you know we'd hate for the neighbors to think I have a job.... loco

Had three with the options I was looking for, silver white and charcoal. Would have like the charcoal but it had painted steel wheels... and they were ugly and I hate silver so white it was.

My brothers pickup is white he treats it like hell as far as running it into branches doesn't wash it hardly ever etc and it cleans up amazingly well, figured I'd give white a try.

My son's last two trucks have been white. He says no other color from now on.

282 mile as of this morning and AVG up to 25.0 mpg. Cold start ups knock the mpg's down worse than other vehicles I have had, but once up and running it makes up for it. For a bunch of short trips it probably wouldn't do as good. This counts several stop lights and taking my boy to daycare as well, not just hwy.

Haha, same here. I love white but the wife says the same thing. White looks too much like a work truck.

Pretty well finished my first tank of diesel in the new pickup. The computer is sitting at 25.9 mpg with just over 400 miles on it. I would love to hand calculate it, but cant because the tank was only 3/4 or so when I started apparently they no longer fill the tank at some dealers!
