I fished with a 9' ultra light for about 23 yrs. and while I own the 9' G-Rod, I just can't put my 7' down! I got two of them now and absolutely love them! I haven't forsaken the nine though, it is an awesome rod too!

If you have no use for that 9' G rod, I could take it out of your hand.  I fished with a 9' ultra light for about 23 yrs. and while I own the 9' G-Rod, I just can't put my 7' down! I got two of them now and absolutely love them! I haven't forsaken the nine though, it is an awesome rod too!

Thanks for the video AJ, it tells more about the G-Rod than I have seen before. I think there is enough bend back on the rod to keep the tip from breaking for sure. A lot of the makers are making the rod tips to fast and they will not stand up to it.

Backbone is an understatement. I've got the 8ft and 6ft, and you better believe I'm not going to take it easy on those fish anytime soon. In fact, I'd say it's about time for a reckoning.
Glad you like the new rod, Mr. Jackson and thanks for the video! Oh yea...I feel sorry for the next slab I set the steel to! Cool Vid, that Slab got some "AirTime"! Y'all know we love our G-Rods. I prefer the 7's for finesse fishing, but like the 9's for 1/16+ lures and deep water jigging. I'm about to test the 10'6" out  After tomorrow, Belinda will be sitting up front beside me, so I'll need all the advantage I can get Airtime it was and Mr Box, what you got up your sleeve I need to Test that G-Rod Cause I'm a gun slinger too Yup ya do...words don't explain what this rod is capable of! I gotcha next time we're out That's how its done! That G Rod will be my next purchase Lol...told ya that bad boy was nice from the first time I held it! It took me about a month or so to break in with all these weather conditions.
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!
