Lake Conroe was not nice to me at all the 3 days I fished this week. I goose egged 1 day. Caught 1 dink the next and then goose egged again Wednesday.

I had a buddy call me late Saturday, so we fished the Sunday morning tournament out of Stowaway. Not sure what the final results were, but we only had two short fish my buddy caught. I lost two on square bills. We weren't the only ones to blank, it was tough.
And by noon making the run back north was no fun, she was a rough mother!! I was glad I have a 21' boat!

Not much from my boat either. Buddy with me had 2 bites and that was it all day. Yea the run back from the north end got a little rough.

KVD 1.5 secondary points, afternoon- evening bites best.

I'm working nights tonight so I will get home around 6a.m. and get me a nap then hit the water around noon and fish til around dark. Thanks for the info Jefe. Was yall catching them shallow?

Finally got my boat back today and wife out for two hours and I caught four to her one. Swimming worms in 3-5ft in front part of Weir Creek. Not bad but the wind was blowing hard out of SW.

Good Deal RHP. At least they are biting. If the wind is blowing hard I will probably stay down around Atkins Creek or Little Lake Creek since I live in Walden.
