Most lines are designed to catch more fishermen than fish...that being said, every line has a purpose. Braid in spinning reels and make sure the rods do not have ceramic eyes as braid will eat through them and cut the line. But the good thing about braid on spinning reels is that it has no memory and you avoid a ton of line twist. Use a fluoro leader spliced to attach baits.
Everything else either Trilene Big Game or Invisix. But...have one rod with heavy braid too for frogging and heavy cover applications. No matter what you use, sometimes the fish just wins...due to cover or weakness in the lines. The heavier the cover, the more you need to retie.

And water clarity...#15 LB Bug Game looks like we'll rope to the fish in clear water.

Looks like Big Game is the hands down winner. The only problem is it tends to hold memory really bad in cold water. Overall it has never let me down.
