Because I can't catch a fish on Sam Rayburn! I'm convinced they all died in the high water this past year. Last December and January I smoked em, the past 2 weeks I've caught 9 dinks and 7 dinks. I've found TONS of bait, but just can't find any fish stacked up deep. What the heck am I doing wrong? I've fished the main lake in front of caney all the way to deer stand.

I just can't for the life of me understand why I can't graph fish?? I'm a Toledo guy and can find deep fish 365 days a year. I've yet to find a decent school on Rayburn lol. Best spot I found had 4 kentuckys on it

Go up in Bear Creek and hit the appliance dump, it is holding some really fun fish right now

Rayburn is in its best shape in years. It's never been a school lake like Toledo. Gotta do work on Rayburn to figure them out...

You need to be in a tournament in order for them to bite good. Tri Lakes is having one tomorrow out of Monterrey.

Red trap needs to be thrown also....only way to catch them in December/January

Not laughing...just having some fun with ya! I'm not doubting you at all, I know Bear Creek can be good. I've caught lots of fish in that area over the years. Happy New Year!

Think I would move back up in the creeks if I was stinking it up out on the main lake. Water hasn't really cooled of enough to put them on a winter pattern.
