I love my Save Phace. I have never tried a motorcycle helmet but I am sure it would work fine. Each to his own.

Be safe,

Caveman beard works well but hurts when it starts slapping you in the face around 60

Haha. I started with the "No Shave November". Then my wife said it was too "cute" to shave. Now I'm trapped. I look like a hobo. And it's too f-in cold to shave. Lol. Still shave my head though. So I look like a thug hobo. Lol.

MUCH WORSE!!!

We start filming our summer episodes at work next week and they told me, under no uncertain circumstances, that I will have a clean face with just my goatee on Monday. Lol

Have both helmet and save phase, wife wears Helmet in winter and save phase in spring and fall,
They fog up on me, I may try some Fog-X as mentioned above.

I started my beard around August, but the wife made me trim a few inches off for Christmas. She said my beard couldn't be longer than Santa's lol

Smith ski goggles and an insulated balaclava. Issue solved and doesn't take up space like a helmet.

Ok I can now testify that the snowmobile helmet is the way to go. grin
Rode about 50 miles with it today and it is great. It has small vents that you can open that directs air to your eyeglasses. My glasses would start to fog up if I was sitting with my shield closed but as soon as I started moving the air would clear the fog. And it wasn't enough to get cold inside.
The only downside is that it is bulkier than a mask but I have plenty of storage room so it's not a big deal.

The high quality paint ball mask is my choice. Well vented and light w/changeable shield. Stores well in the boat. It will shield in hail/sleet/snow fogging up can be a problem.
