They were just jacking around. That shad spawn bite on the swim bait can be the deal when it's on. Looks like a slower Fork day. Those Florida strain can be real temperamental.

I fished that same day at fork with a buddy of mine here on the forum,and to say the weather man was off is a understatement we all had to go in get more clothes and drink coffee to get warmed back up. The cold front blew in, super cold and over cast made it a hard day. The fish locked down for sure. Then in the afternoon the sun came out and warmed things up a little bit. It was an all around hard day. Typical crazy Texas weather. I Did get a chance to meet with Pack and Scott in the morning before they headed out. Great bunch of guys and both Pack and Scott are true class acts and very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing. Thanks for all the pointers
