I just looked up that FX21 LE, that color is pretty darn cool, id get that in a heart beat.

well here is the deal. my custom brick home burned and now I live in a metal house that I built to be a shop. so with no more high mortgage I thought I would reward myself. but I am not wanting to be wasteful either. I also don't want to be stuck with a bad choice either.

I am in the market for a new Skeeter & waiting to see if there are any "bargains" during Boat Shows?

Agree. Why buy to please the next owner? I'd buy what I like.

Captain,
You are looking at a great brand for performance, quality and re-sell. From the fully loaded ZX package to the FX limited you can't go wrong. We have several nice low hour full factory warranty demos we can make you a deal on and they are all ready for test run. With that being said if you are buying new ( non- demo ) it only makes sense to buy from your local dealer as most of the Skeeters are nationally advertised prices. I know Jeff Gauge at Plano marine is close to you and will treat you right. I am not trying to say we won't sell you a boat but unless you are looking for a pre-owned or a demo with a deal buying close to home usually is the best plan. To see our line up of super clean pre-owned or Skeeter demos you can go to funnsunboats.com to see all our inventory or PM me.
Thanks,
Monte Reagan

Because if you buy a purple boat there won't be a next owner.

If you DON'T go new, definitely get something with warranty. My HPDI blew up 2.5 years ago when I bought it used. Haven't had a problem since Texas outboard rebuild fix it. But he no longer will work on HPDI's because of the exact problems stated in the early comments. Good luck

I want to thank everyone for the input. Thanks monte for the response. I have a couple spotted locally and wanted some other input to help me make up my mind.

The biggest issue with skeeter is their POS trailer...and then there is the fall apart boat...and don't ever be the second owner cause the warranty doesn't apply to you...as long as your the first owner a Nitro is a better deal cause you got the same boat for less...ok I stirred the pot good enough... bolt

Well I am not knocking people that own them, but I will bank fish before I own anything under the bps umbrella. Three years ago I paid cash for a tracker aluminum boat, the biggest one they had at the time. Had it three weeks and decided it was not big enough so I went back to the dealer I bought it from and wanted to trade it for a nitro. I was offered just under half the original price for the boat. So no thanks on anything under the bps umbrella.
