What a great day spent with friends and I really like the old school photo of holding a days catch on a stringer. And your day shows it took to of your fishing buds to hold your days catch, very nice

Banker they don't have a chance with you guys showing up. Do the crappies move into the canals this time of the year?
Any Rio's? I want to catch a few more of those soon? Thanks Guys for the replies.  The Crappie bite on the Guadalupe River has been good all year.  The floods have kind of set us back but the river bite is really picking back up.  Fish are very active.  "SheCrappieKilla": Finding good numbers in shallow water 7 to 10 feet deep and yes we are finding em in creeks/canales right at the mouths of em coming into the main river.  As for the Rios all of the past flooding has really messed up the Rio bite.  I have caught some nice ones on the Guadalupe but it was far from what I have been doing over past years.  Caught most of my Rios on creeks this year.  With the latest cold fronts that have blown in along with the super cold front coming in on Saturday the Rios will be in hiding until next spring.  "Spiderman": I usually target the Bluegill (Sunfish) and post a lot of reports in the Bluegill Section. I do catch a lot of Crappie especially now until spawn!

Nice one's guys! Sure wish I could catch a few there, just never have gotten into them there. I'll probably give it a shot in a couple weeks again!

 Early morning prefrontal slabs off the Guadalupe! Caught 45+ in about 2 hours kept a few for a dinner. Using soft plastics. 12 - 20' of water. Also got into a school of ditch lizards 2-3 lb range that were chasing a ball of shad.

Thanks guys for the replies! The bite has been AWESOME these past few weeks. Since we did not get a ton of rain down here this go around this upcoming week is looking pretty good. Matt: Glad to see the bite is still going strong. Nice haul! Side Note: Will be somewhere on that river this week for sure!

This upcoming week for sure. Water a little cloudy after the rains we had. Give it a couple of days and fishing will be fine.
