Are they still using the generator in Baytown to where it is still discharging hot water? I heard they shut it down. How about the discharge at baycliff? I never caught much at Baycliff but we use to load up at Baytown. Then again it been almost 30 yrs. ago. Thanks alot. Larry S

As your heading to baytown on I-10 and go over the big bridge into old river take the first exit to the right. Go under the the bridge tot he left follow that road for a while and untill you come to a phillips 66 gas statin and take a left at that light drive down a bit until you cross a canal and start looking to your left for the mcullem road. drive to the end of that road and mcullem park is right there. I usually park right there and walk down the road and wade out to the spill way and wade fisht hat area.

Well the gut is deep as hell too deep to wade. It is shallow less than knee deep all the way until you move around the edge of the barrier then it slowly starts to get deep. Be careful around the gut as it does get steep quickly but nothing you can't feel just watch your step around the gut and you will be fine.

Right now when it is cold I wade to the edge of that gut and fish it in all directions and workt he dropoffs. I like darker colors in the morning and as it lights up I lighten up.
