I'm glad all you guys are so happy. I'm happy too. None of that changes the fact my wife won't be happy unless she buys me something for Christmas so if I don't give her some ideas I'll probably wind up with something I don't want. At this point I'm thinking about Boga Grips, possibly a new spinning reel, perhaps a guide trip or maybe some new fishing boots. What do you guys tend to wear in the boat for shoes? Any great fishing gadgets you guys can't live without?

How about a Private Water Fishing membership?

We discount the membership only once a year and that will be Thanksgiving week until Christmas.

I could really do with a spare tire for the trailer!!

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

Wanting some new setups for Christmas. I'm new to the bass fishing world so i only have really one style of fishing and that's texas rigging. What setup would be good for swim baits and spinners.

you could just buy 7ft MH rods until you have about 4-5 of them and they will be fine for just about anything.

no reason to buy specialized setups until you have a little more experience, keep things versatile for now
