Troll Well at Tackle Warehouse was my choice. Well built and easy to install on my Tr20. Several colors to choose from so you can match it to your boats colors.

Does it make that much of a difference in having a tray or not? I do not have one, but I like to kick the pedal from one side or the other depending on which way I'm heading down the bank. If I had a tray it would be in that one spot. How hard of an adjustment is it to go from doing that to having it in the one spot?

I find it much more of a comfortable and natural position for my foot. In your case Im not sure that would be the same. If you really like kicking it from spot to spot then Im not sure you would like the tray. Im sure you would get used to it over time but if you are comfortable as is then no reason to cut a hole in your boat

I have the opposite problem, my new boat has a recessed tray I need to fill in . I can only use hand control because of knee and back problems.Do they make something for that?

Do you want to fill in permanently or more of a temporary option if you decide to sell the boat?

I used to kick the pedal around when I was younger. As the years have passed and my back has decided that it is getting old, the recessed pedal has made a world of difference for me. Esp in rough water - no more Capt. Morgan.

I have one. The only thing I don't like about it is this.... If you mount the pedal so it doesn't shift around, then the recess block the "con/off/mom" switch on the side, due to the pedal barely fitting into the recess. So my pedal flops around loosely in the recess.

I put a Troll Well in mine Ranger '99 519 and I love it. Then I put a strip of LEDs in the base of it for early morning/ late nights.
