Nice video Kilsong! Good to see you again.
I went out to watch the boat come in and there were some nice tuna getting hung up! Definitely a 100lb and a 90 lb fish! Others were fairly nice too! A couple of nice dorado joined the lineup! I'll let everyone tell their stories, but I do have some things I heard that could easily be misconstrued, taken out of context and were just kind of funny. Here they are, you have to guess who until someone from the trip actually posts up:
Why are they calling you "barely legal"??
"I jump in the shower for a minute and you catch a blue marlin on my rig???" "Really?"
Hey, Who left their skivvies in the restroom??
I don't want a ribeye bad enough to go up there and cook one!
And the Joe Livingston trophy goes to?
I told you those chips were hot!
It was big and red, and yea, It squirted all over the bait area!
Why are they holding a barracuda over Brian's head?
Are you ready for next year's trip??

Tiffany and I just got home and unloaded.
We will be cleaning (I) in the morning. This was one fun trip. They have really stepped up trolling during the day. Outriggers and a couple crew that really knows how to run them. The troll just before dark was the best. It seemed like just as soon as they set up the troll and made a run past the magic spot they would be on one. The big tuna came on the troll as well as that marlin. Sweet.
The whole crew was great, as usual, and captain Jay put us on fish. The Blackfin were there for the taking. The picture only shows half or less of the fish brought on. The Yellowfin were kind of spotty but we still (not me) had some pretty nice fish as you can see.
Rough out, good time fishing and the last 40 miles coming in got a little nasty with the front giving us rain and a pretty good north wind.
I'm tired, going to sleep after a shower. I hope all the tuna heads make it home safe. Best wishes from the Spencers to the rest of the TFF tuna crew and looking forward to the next round.
I am wrong but you can not prove it, you just believe it enough from the bottom of your heart.....
.......Every post you make I'll be trolling you.

Had an absolutely amazing time with all of the guys on the charter. T.O.O. has put an awesome group of anglers and characters together for this charter. Everyone was so quick to be helpful, and willing to help out the next guy in need. As said above, the weather was amazing up until about 40 miles out, on the way in, and then it got plenty testy, but the Scat Cat handled it plenty well. We got to Perdido around 7:15 p.m. and started fishing at one of the drill ships. There were plenty of b.f. to be had. I don't know the female anglers handle on this board so I'll just call her "lady dynamite". About 20 minutes into the 1st drift at the 1st spot, Lady Dynamite came racing up to the bow to where all the Halco guys were casting our tails off, and she was in a battle with what turned out to be the biggest yft of the boat, for most of the trip, at what I'm guesstimating was around 100 lbs because I know what mine weighed. She made pretty short work of this guy. Handled that biggen like a champ, considering it was as big as she was...big grin. From there it was a lot of casting and not much reward on the yft's. A lot of people switched over to jigging to nothing catching but bft's. So back to the Halco I went. Finally after eating a bite around midnight, went back out and my 1st cast off of the bow, just past the lights, and just as my Halco hit the water I saw the yft jump about 6" out of water to land on my bait as my Saragosa began to scream and send me on a sprint around the boat. As I got him to the rail, on the opposite corner of the 86'Scat Cat, that I began the battle with him on, the deck hands gaffed him and he was on board. Awesome, my very 1st yft ever. I'm stoked. I even ate my yft heart. Back to fishing. Dad, fwm0103, and I manage 3 more that night around 40-70 lbs, and went to bed. Woke up to, Allison 1, screaming marlin on in the back. So I got out of bed and went to watch. With another great job of running the boat and angling, he was leadered and brought aboard for some quick pics and sent harmlessly back to fight another day. A few minutes later I was harnessed into the fish of a lifetime. A yft that taped 59 1/2" and weighed 114 at the dock, so he was probably 120 fresh out of the water. He made 3 for me so that was my limit. The end of the battle is on video, I'll try to post it if I can get that part figured out. I had a blast. It was a magical memory that I got to make with my dad and some great guys. Thanks and I can't wait for the next trip. I think I'm addicted. You were right lite-liner. I got bit, I got the fever.

I can't say enough about the quality work and heart and dedication the deck hands and captains put in on this trip. The outriggers were an awesome addition to the boat. They made this a very enjoyable trip and memory for me. I couldn't imagine a better crew for the trip. Great job, Casey, Jericho, Mason, Tim, Jay,and Tie

Great trip...again. I'm about to head to the deer lease so brevity will be the rule here. I had a great time. Fishing was a little tough but I still managed to get a 50 lb'er the first night. Second night was tough for all. The day trolling was pretty amazing. Quality fish raised on troll and boated, regularly. The crew is becoming knowledgeable about rigging baits and where to run them on the spread. It changes everything. If we could figure how to get a few live baits on the boat i think the yellowfin fishing will be a night and day affair. Congrats to Fred, the first, on winning the first annual Sportsman trophy. It was well deserved.
Top Bunk headed for Llano.

Great bunch of Tuna heads for our Mojo Risin/ Joe Livingston tribute Tuna 15 Crew. We had excellent food, friends, fun and the Scat Cat crew was superb. We had a hard time getting hooked up with Yellows but the Black Fin kept us well entertained. I had my folding deck chair threw me to the deck, so I was not able to cast try as I might me busted back and elbow just would not take it. So I jigged till my arms were jelly & I did catch about 60 BFT is my best guess? Many thanks to Willie and Texas Outdoor Organizers for their tireless work to make sure we all have a good time. Thanks to everyone that made this another trip to remember... see yall all next year TFF Tuna 16. Congrats to Fred "Hyperman" for upholding Mojo's team sprit throughout this epic trip and for sharing his Marlin battle with us. Nice Trophy dude Is it time to go again yet?
