Regarding 04 champs question yes the Simms Contender and Pro dry suits feature Gore-tex. The Pro Dry is lightest weight suit which works great in warmer climates and allows you to layer effectively in winter. I wear some base layer and a down vest or Simms fall run primaloft jacket and can stay comfortable in 40 degree temps. suits that feature Gore-tex are far superior than any other waterproof membrane or coating. Gore "garantees to keep you dry".
