I've spent $20-$25 on a lure. Thank god I haven't gotten into throwing the big swimbaits. . . .yet. But that is definitely next on the list. . . .better start saving up now.

Probably in the $15 range, bug cranks mainly. Bought an A-rig for about the same. Just don't fish swimbaits so I haven't bought into the high priced lures. Ill stick with my jigs haha

$27.99 for a vision 110+1.... But other than that the most I've spent is like $13. Also I had $45 combined with swimbaits and hooks on an A-Rig

If it's discontinued and I like it, I will buy it. I am more prone to spend high money on topwaters because I am confident I won't lose them. Deep divers I don't pay a premium for.

I have baits from $30-180 range in my swimbait box. It just depends on what kind of baits appeal to you and the style of fishing you like to do.

I have paid close to 50 bucks, heck what does a round of golf at a nice course cost ? Or a steak dinner at a nice restaurant ? At least in most cases you will use the lure for a long time.

We are being taken to the cleaners on these lures now days, do you remember bombers for 1.09 or 25 cent H&H. They caught plenty of fish.
I bought a model A#7 at walmart 4.50, the lure has been made for 35 years, now made in china like everything else, I bet the cost to make it is under 50 cents.

$10 is max !! if I can't fool'em for $4-$7 on a regular basis then I'm sorry that's about it for me. If it takes a $100 lure to trick a bass into thinking it's a real bait I'm out.

I side with the $10 guys. I can't catch anything anyway so why would I spend $hundreds more to not catch? Besides, the day I go to the lake and only lose a couple lures is damm near as good as a day at the lake catching fish.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I don't think I've pushed $25 but there are several swim baits that cost more and the bait monkey keeps asking for.

Anything over $12-15 and I gotta think real hard on it. If you fish these $$$$ lures in heavy cover your gonna lose a few...adds up quickly.
