Almost 30 new threads created in 4 days?? Yup and it clutters up the forum, the search feature is your friend George, as previously stated, more than once. I think if there is a problem with that then the moderators can address the issue. What does it matter of a guy seeking knowledge asks questions? He's not asking anything personal.

Almost 30 new threads created in 4 days?? Who cares? This site is about learning ..... Is it not? Guess I'm just grumpy today. Zoom or Berkley? They both work.

Berkley power worms for me, zoom for most other things. Brush hog, finesse, flukes. But you can't beat a Berkley power worm...I also like their pit boss, that's a great bait!

Zoom Ol Monster (Junebug) easily my MVP bait of the year. Capped with a 6# last week. Berkley good but this worm has been dynamite in East Texas.

I prefer some baits from Zoom and some baits from Berkley/Sebile/Havoc. My specific answer would only add confusion.
Sounds like you are about to head down the endless rabbit hole of buying soft plastics and other lures.
If I could do it all over again, I'd do the following:
1. Become a member of Lucky Tackle Box or Mystery Tackle Box for six months--there are promotional codes to discount initial boxes and memberships. You will receive a variety of lures and soft plastics at prices much lower than retail. Discover what you have confidence in and have success with by fishing with what they send. 2. Then start buying those and similar plastics in the style and color you prefer at discounted prices (see below for examples): Overstockbait.com the APT and Tacklewarehouse sales Dick's sporting good sales the bargain bins at Walmart, Cabela's, BPS
You will develop your own style and preferences and throw lures bass haven't been hammered with.

Almost 30 new threads created in 4 days?? I know!! What a slacker! I make that many threads in my sleep. Back to his question I like the Zoom ol monsters the best. I ask the bass if they want to get high and break them off some of that California 420.
