Sunline Assassin FC Flourocarbon

I use 12-20lb depending on the cover. This line to me, is better than the Sniper FC that Sunline makes. It holds knot strength a lot better. Normally, Sniper FC is just fine but when you're around a lot of cover, go with the Assassin FC.

I may be over thinking on my choice but it depends on rod I use. If its a reaction type rod I would use something with less stretch. If you use a rod that has a fast tip I would use mono so you don't pull it away from them. I also don't throw heavy line. Has more to do with the fact I have never caught anything with any size on a spinnerbait.

A spinner bait is a reaction bait and in my opinion you do not need to spend the money for fluorocarbon. I use fluorocarbon line for baits that require a good sense of feel (soft plastics). I use a copolymer line for spinnerbaits and swim jigs and it works just fine.

15# Invizx and a medium action 7' rod. This will detect the light bites where you only feel the blade(s) stop turning. I'm not a believer that the spinnerbait is a reaction only lure due to personal experience.
