Depends on clarity of water for me. Typically I stick to the "Dark day, dark bait"

Rains are associated with fronts, and that usually makes fish active, prefrontal and during are usually active. It's the post frontal conditions that suck, especially with Florida strain bass.

I tend to see good fishing from my trailer windows as I watch bass fisherman fishing my dock while I sip on a hot cup of coffee...Hehehe wink
