Crope, we caught them between 2-17 foot of water. Our shallowest couple of fish were at 2 ft. and the deepest were at 17 ft. but mostly they were at 10-13. Black Emerald Shiner was what they were after on Saturday. After catching them for weeks on Pearl Ice. I would say they switched and we were catching more on darker baits. Go with a BES or even an natural shad color. Lager profile is better right now IMO too.

You can get a buff at academy, cabellas, bass pro, online, etc.

Thanks!

I'm not sure where I got that Buff. I've had it for many years and always trying & buying new stuff. It would most likely be at BPS, Cabelas or Academy. But possibly on-line. confused I am a serious tackle ho. I have over 60+ rods for crappie/catfish/striper/trout and a closet and garage full of tackle. crazy I need therapy, I know... but the only thing that seems to help is to go fishing. lol

We fished all over Lavon most all day since it was so freakin beautiful. Believe it or not, depths were from 3' to around 16-18ish. We caught one fish in 3 foot, but it was a good setup. Most came in the 10-12+' range on submerged timber and brush... and some near the rocks.

And yes... a nice pile of 72 purty white filets! thumb flag

Black Emerald Shiner is a true game changer! Even won a company Bass tourney this past Saturday on Welsh with it in a Super Fry!
