Same experience on a creek this weekend. For about an hour, I was catching on each cast. All in the 10-12in range.

Noticed you said you were fishing the gravel pit around 35/harry hines/NWH area. Pulled up google maps and all i see is a small lake called the fishing hole? I was wondering where this area called the gravel pit was, wanting to do some fishing during my lunch break. I work in las colinas and this is about a 10 minute drive.
