Yes sir. I just read a report that said it was too early for it to work. Nobody told the fish that at Grapevine and Eagle Mountain! LOL! It's been helping me out for weeks.
The water temp was 76 Monday and Wednesday and then jumped up again with the heat.
Both Eagle and Grapevine have had foam and nasty water on and off lately. I would not be surprised if either lake was trying to turn. The lakes are turning in Oklahoma right now.

I have been fishing Grapevine for over 35 years and I still think it is a much overlooked fishery.
I still load the boat most trips with multiple species.

I went yesterday 10/15 with Ron GOFISHNOW, launched from Katie woods at about 5:30pm, the lake was flat on 15mph south winds, we clicked 33 sandbass before it got dark, the lake is fantastic with lots of bait and fish, we were debating Lewisville vs Grapevine, but I imagine the former would have been a mess in yesterday's winds, was fun can't wait to be back,

Going tomorrow for the first time in 20 years. Any areas I should try first?

I work close to Grapevine and have recently started targeting sandies and strippers instead of largemouth. Are there fairly good and consistent spots on Grapevine that have shore access (no boat)?

Yesterday the W. point at the mouth of Murell park was holding fish. Fish from the point for about 400 yrds west.

Fished it again yesterday and the fish are still cooperating. 80+ sandies with some keeper crappie mixed in. All fish were healthy and hungry. Same M/O as before. Water temp has dropped a couple of degrees. It was a bit breezy but the fish seemed to like it.
