This event couldn't happen at a better time! Lowrance has just REDUCED pricing on their Elite Series! Come learn more about electronics on October 20th here at Mariner Sails' Kayak Fishing Club Meeting! You'll also get info on a Brazos River Adventure opportunity..........just a little teaser.

Oh yeah......did I mention food and refreshments........did I mention that new memberships are good through the end of 2016! I'm not sure I'm done but I'm going to stop anyway!

I talked to Rob last night and he's really excited about coming.
I hope everyone comes and learns from his presentation.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to hear Robs presentation.
I know that I learned a lot about the use of my Lowrance and I hope all of you did also.

I bet it was a great learning experience. I wish I could have attended it! You guys should video tape the clinics and put them on YouTube!

I forgot to mention that we would like to thank all of our members for your support of Heroes on the Water.
It may appear that membership is not free but your dues are a 100% donation to the DFW Chapter of Heroes on the Water.

Heroes on the Water serves wounded and disabled active duty, Reserve and Guard troops. The group aims to help injured warfighters recover mentally and physically through the therapeutic qualities of fishing from kayaks. Participants enjoy guided fishing trips around the country. The programs offer basic kayak fishing instruction, angling clinics and paddling classes for people in various skill ranges. Adaptive kayaks, accessories and angling equipment are made available as needed to accommodate warriors with particular needs. The kayaks, various gear, meals and transportation are provided free of charge. Volunteer staff and program coordinators consist of professional educators, counselors, licensed fishing guides, wildlife and aquatic biologists, active duty military members and experienced kayak fishermen.

We are proud to be able to give back to those who put it all on the line for us!!! flag
